How I Get Indexed In Google In Less Than 5 Minutes

If you have ever dropped by the DigitalPoint forums, you’ll probably see over a dozen members asking how to get their sites indexed in Google. You know what I do when I see those questions? I laugh.

Countless webmasters try as hard as they can to get there sites indexed in Google, and fail. They spend hours and hours reading useless blog posts discussing the topic, yet they continue to fail at getting their sites indexed in Google.

What if I told you there was a way to get your latest blog post indexed in Google in less than 5 minutes? Yes, you heard me, less than 5 minutes. In fact, this method is so powerful that I’m having second thoughts about releasing it to the general public to protect it from being saturated and used for the wrong purposes.

Fine, I’ll tell you how to do it. Here’s how to get your site indexed in Google in less than 5 minutes.

First, you need to install the Google XML Sitemaps plugin on your WordPress blog, make sure you set it up and build it for the first time.

Next, you’re going to have to update your blog’s ping list. Basically this is a list of web services to notify when you have published a new post on your blog. Here’s a pretty good one I use on all my blogs:

You can change the ping list from the WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Writing. Just copy & paste the list above then save the changes.

Now go ahead and publish that post of yours, and soon as you do, head on over to Digg.com and submit a new story linking to your latest post. That’s it! Just sit back and relax while Google does the rest of the work!

Your site won’t always get the same results as mine did, but using this method, you should be able to get your site indexed within a cool 24 hours.

Pretty cool, eh? Now go on over to the DP forums to share what you just learned with the rest of your friends.

The Two Little Known Secrets About Making Money Online

You know, it always amazes my friends and family when I tell them that you can actually make money online! It just sounds bizarre to them for some reason, even after I try explaining it to them, they still don’t get it.

Ever since John Chow starting posting his $40,000 per month blogging income reports, everyone and their dog is jumping on to the “make money online” bandwagon. There are probably a myriad number of things they don’t understand about making money online, but in reality, there are only two things they (and everyone else) needs to know to start making money online…

If only they knew about these two secrets, making money online would seem much, much easier.

Want to know the two little known secrets about making money online? Here they are: If you want to make money online you have to… a) Work. b) Spend Money.

Wait, is it really that simple? I mean, come on, obviously if it was that simple then everyone would be making money online by now, right? Wrong.

You see, almost 100% of the people that want to make money online either don’t want to work for it or don’t want to spend any money.

They expect that the money will start rolling in while they watch another episode of Lost; they think that people will simply give them cash in return for absolutely nothing.

People, there is something you have to get into your minds if you seriously want to make money online! It takes money to make money, and you’re gonna have to work to do that! If you really bought into all those getrich-quick schemes working 1/hour a month, then you’ve got another thing coming!

I know a lot of people (myself included) that have the potential of making it big online but the only reason that isn’t happening is because no money is being spent nor is any sweat being put into it.

Reading about how to make money online on all those alleged “make money online” blogs isn’t going to help you make money online. You might think that reading about how to make money online will actually help you out in the long run by improving your skills, but trust me, the best way ever to do good on something is to actually do it.

Making money online isn’t rocket science, but it will require you to take action and start spending money.

There you have it, folks. Get out there and start taking action!

The Secret to Finding the Perfect Posting Schedule

One of the most confusing things all new bloggers face is finding the perfect post schedule.

The main problem with them is that they all start out very enthusiastically, posting up to five times per day. The problem is, after they notice that nobody’s reading or commenting on their content, they simply stop.

Even when they slowly establish themselves in their niche, they still find it difficult to find the perfect posting schedule; many even go the length of thinking about the time they should post.

The secret is pretty simple, actually (and is one I’ve been using for a while now). I find that you should only post again once your first post has reached its Climax.

What on earth does that mean, eh? Well, you see, I like to think of the climax of a post as its tipping point – the time period where it has gotten the most exposure as possible.

For some, that may mean 50 comments and a thousand views, others may have lower expectations. But a general rule you should stick to when first starting out is 5 comments and 50 pageviews. That is probably the best time you should whip up another post and publish it.

Although this is the way I do things, it may not work as well for blogs in certain niches like technology, where events are constantly changing and people would like to stay updated 24/7.

This rule will ensure that both you and your readers will benefit - with you getting as much comments and pageviews as possible, while your readers enjoy your posts without feeling overwhelmed.

Warning: These 7 Techniques May Result In Thousands of Free Backlinks

Almost every serious webmaster knows that the real money is in backlinks. The more you have, the higher your site will rank in the search engines, and ultimately you’ll make more money.

Let’s say there are two sites with backlinks of the same quality. One of them has 10,00 backlinks, and the other one has 50,000 backlinks. Which one do you think Google is going to consider more important? Obviously the one with 50,000 backlinks.

But then again, quantity isn’t everything. The quality of the backlinks is another important factor that search engines take into consideration when ranking your site. For example, let’s say we have two technology blogs. One has 1,000 backlinks from sites like TechCruch, Lifehacker, ArsTechnica, Gizmodo etc. and the other blog has 5,000+ backlinks from a few unknown technology blogs. Who do you think will rank higher in the search engines? The first one of course.

Quality and quantity are just two of the many factors search engines use to rank a site. Other factors are the anchor text, topic of the blog, age of the domain, PageRank of the blog and tons of others. But what we will focus on right now is the quantity of backlinks. You see, the thing about backlinks is that you can never get enough of them. Even if you reach #1 in Google, a couple of more thousand backlinks won’t do any harm. So, how exactly do you build thousands of backlinks towards your site for free?

That’s what we’ll be looking at today. Here are 7 methods that may result if thousands of free backlinks: Use them at your own risk.
